Today’s theme (for the month of March) is Passageway. This is part of the long sidewalk by the Danube Canal. Compared to other canals in the city it is relatively small…no cruise ships pass by, just water.

That’s how I feel (well, a bit). I have been ‘asleep’ in this blog. *Sigh* I miss everyday postings…I should be serious and get back to putting up this blog, as Vienna Daily.

Taken this morning while in the tram, on our way back from the Clock Museum. You’re looking at the famous Danube River, just frozen. The cold has been blanketing us (unfortunately) too much as most parts of the US and Europe are…
This didn’t stop the man from running though! Well, it’s better to heat up than get cold in the cold right? How’s the snow in your part of the world? Or the sun (which I’m missing)?

This has been our white world for sometime now. I let my kids be kids by bringing them out to play with the snow. They would thank me aftwerwards with hugs and kisses!

The snow is still not letting up. Three weeks in a row, this is the first time in years that it has happened (I’ve been in this city for 7 years and 5 months). With gray skies and muddy streets at times, it is so depressing and really drags you down. When the sky is blue though, my hopes are up and I get to take some shots.

A break from snow posts! This is a repost of an earlier entry…taken last summer at the Schönbrunn grounds, I can’t help but be nostalgic about how 7 years ago, I bought my daughter in this same place as a baby…she’s grown much!
